TRICO Products announces the availability of new Exact Fit® Wiper Blades engineered to fit the unique pinch tab arms on current vehicles including the: BMW 5 and 6 Series; Buick Lucerne; Mercedes-Benz ML, R and SLK Class; Pontiac G6; and Volvo S, V and XC Series. The new blades also will accommodate future vehicles such as the 2007: Audi Q7; Cadillac Escalade; Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban and Tahoe; GMC Yukon; Mercedes-Benz GL Class; and Saturn Aura.
“The unique nature of pinch tab wiper arms made it almost impossible to buy compatible aftermarket blades other than directly through a dealership,” said James Croston, director of marketing at TRICO. “Now, drivers of the nearly 1.4 million of these vehicles on the road in the U.S. today can purchase Exact Fit blades at many convenient locations.”
TRICO’s new “-13” and “-14” Exact Fit blades are available in 21” (part number 21-13), 22” (part number 22-13), 23” (part number 23-14), 24” (part numbers 24-13 and 24-14), and 28” (part number 28-13) lengths. Like all other Exact Fit blades, each new “-13” and “-14” blade is pre-assembled so that its receptor exactly matches the pinch tab arms of these vehicle makes, requiring no adaptors or complicated instructions for installation.
The Exact Fit line of wiper blades was designed with the consumer in mind, providing a “click on easy” solution for do-it-yourself wiper replacement. “Research indicates that 60 percent of drivers who don’t install their own wiper blades state their confusion with adaptors as the main reason,” explained Croston. “With the Exact Fit receptor, adaptors are no longer a problem, and installation is possible in seconds by virtually anyone and on nearly any vehicle.”
TRICO Exact Fit wiper blades additionally feature O.E. grade materials, including high-strength steel, corrosion-resistant epoxy coating and superior caliber natural rubber.
TRICO is one of the world's largest wiper product manufacturers and operates major facilities in Asia, Australia, North America, South America and the United Kingdom.
