New Imaging Program Brings Upscale Brand Image to Bosch Car Service Centers

LAS VEGAS, NV- November 3, 2014 – Bosch Car Service recently launched an imaging program for repair shops that are members of its exclusive network. Designed to help Bosch Car Service centers project a clean, consistent and contemporary look, the main goal of this program is to communicate to consumers the message of professional and efficient service in a comfortable and attractive environment. The program is available to all 1,856 independent repair shops in North America that are designated Bosch Car Service centers.

The Bosch Car Service network is a collection of top independent repair centers, servicing gasoline, diesel and hybrid-driven vehicles. Bosch Service centers have access to quality parts, diagnostic and wheel service equipment, training and workshop business solutions from Bosch, the largest automotive original equipment and aftermarket parts supplier in the world.

“To a motorist driving down a road looking for a repair shop, a clean and inviting appearance can make all the difference,” said Mark Polke, Director, Workshop Concepts and Technical Support, Robert Bosch LLC, Automotive Aftermarket NA. “Clear identification, a clean exterior and a comfortable, well-appointed waiting area can influence a potential customer’s decision to select a shop and come in for service; while for an existing customer, it will make visiting the shop a welcome experience.”

The program offers shops the opportunity for both exterior and interior redesign. For the interior, shop owners can select from a variety of Bosch Car Service branding graphics as well as furniture, paint and flooring options. For the exterior there is an updated brand banding fascia which lends a simple, clean and upscale look.

“Momentum is building for the Bosch Car Service imaging program,” said Polke. “In the short period of time since its rollout, more than 200 shops have signed up for the program. Whether it’s the interior reception area, the customer lounge or exterior identification, this new program has begun to transform the Bosch Car Service network, giving it a consistent and contemporary look and feel. This will not only improve the customer experience but can also be used as a marketing tool by us at Bosch to support our Bosch Car Service centers.

“We encourage independent repair shops to consider joining the Bosch Car Service network. Partnering with the world’s largest supplier of automotive parts and systems to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket provides shops with access to the most current technical service information, highest quality parts and a wide variety of merchandising tools,” said Polke.

The growth of the Bosch Service network is a primary focus area for the Automotive Aftermarket Division. This new imaging program is just one way that Bosch is supporting the network and its growth goals for the future.
